A Vision of Following Jesus: Embracing His Call

Updated: Feb 5

A Divine Encounter

During a time of worship, I had a profound vision. I saw Jesus walking through the gates of cities and towns. These cities were ancient, surrounded by walls and gates.

Jesus looked back at me with a huge smile on His face. He beckoned me to follow Him. This invitation is not just for me; it is for all of us. He is asking us to step out of the four walls of our church buildings. He calls us to follow Him into every nation, every city, every village, and even into our own neighborhoods.

The Power of Prayer

We may not travel to distant nations, but we have our neighborhoods to pray for. We can declare that God's kingdom comes on earth as it is in Heaven. Since Jesus Christ ascended into Heaven and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, He desires to manifest Himself through the Holy Spirit and through us.

Not everyone can go physically, but everyone can go in the Holy Spirit. We can intercede for those who are going, support them, and help them in their mission.

Declaring Blessings

Good News for All

I want to declare good news over you! This good news is for your spirit, soul, and body. It is for your calling, your finances, and your health!

The Importance of Community

In our journey of faith, community plays a vital role. We are not meant to walk this path alone. Surrounding ourselves with fellow believers strengthens our resolve and deepens our understanding of God's word. Together, we can support one another in prayer and action.

Taking Action

As we follow Jesus, we must also take action. This means stepping out of our comfort zones. It means reaching out to those in need, whether in our neighborhoods or beyond. We can volunteer, share our resources, and spread the love of Christ wherever we go.

Embracing the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit empowers us to fulfill our calling. It is through His guidance that we can discern where to go and what to do. Embracing the Holy Spirit means being open to His leading. It means being willing to listen and respond to His promptings.

A Call to Intercede

Intercession is a powerful tool in our spiritual arsenal. When we pray for others, we are participating in God's work. We are standing in the gap for those who may not know Him. Our prayers can bring about change, healing, and transformation.

Living Out Our Faith

Living out our faith means embodying the teachings of Jesus in our daily lives. It means showing love, kindness, and compassion to everyone we encounter. Our actions speak louder than words, and through them, we can reflect the heart of Christ.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Jesus is calling us to follow Him. He invites us to step out of our comfort zones and into the world around us. Whether through prayer, action, or intercession, we can make a difference. Let us embrace this call and declare blessings over ourselves and others.
